Provisioning a player consists of two steps:

In most cases, it is best to provision new players 

 to powering up the player for the first time. When provisioned, the player will automatically configure itself per the assigned Setup File upon first bootup.

BrightSign's record of a player and its Setup File. The Default Setup File is assigned to the player unless another Setup File has been explicitly set.
