The Time/Clock event specifies the action that occurs at a specific time and date or at regular intervals on a recurring schedule.

- **Single date/time event**: Select this option to specify a one-time-only event.
  - **Date**: Specify the date by entering it into the field or selecting it from the calendar view.
  - **Time**: Specify the time using the dropdown menu. If you want the event to occur at an exact minute, type the desired time directly into the field.
  - **Specify with user variable**: Select this option if you want to use the value of a [User Variable](docId:97ugz4dVQlqzVJ1EGJ_Y4) to specify the date and time. Choose a variable from the dropdown list. The value of the variable must be in this format: “yyyy-mm-ddThh\:mm\:ss”. For example, if you would like the event to occur on December 20, 2016 at 3:45PM, then you would use the value “2016-12-20T15:45:00”.
- **Daily timeout event**: Select this option to specify a recurring event.
  - **Once per day**: Select this option to have the event occur once per day. Specify the **Time** using the dropdown menu (or, if you want the event to occur at an exact minute, type the desired time directly into the field).
  - **Periodic throughout the day**: Select this option to have the event occur at intervals throughout the day.
    - **Interval between events (minutes)**: Determine the frequency of the event.
    - **Active between**: Use the dropdown menus to specify the period during which the event can occur. The first event will occur at the beginning of the active period.
  - **Set the days the timeout is active**: Use the checkboxes to select which days the time/clock event is active.
