The Rectangular Touch event specifies the action that occurs when the user presses a region on a touch screen that is connected to the BrightSign player.

- **Size**: Use the size parameters to set an exact size for the touch region. Alternatively, you can click and drag the marks surrounding the touch rectangle to change its size.
  - **W**: Enter the width of the touch region.
  - **H**: Enter the height of the touch region.
- **Position**: Use the position parameters to set an exact position for the touch region. Alternatively, you can click and drag the rectangle to a different area.
  - **X**: Enter the horizontal position (in pixels) of the top-left corner of the touch region.
  - **Y**: Enter the vertical position (in pixels) of the top-left corner of the touch region.
- **Save as User Event**: Check this box to save this Rectangular Touch event as a [User Event](docId\:NbVRW_uQhEEfCYIlEagIM). Enter the name of the new User Event in the **Name** field.
- **Add Touch Region**: Click  to add another touch region to the event. All touch regions in a Rectangular Touch event will trigger the same transition and commands. To define different touch transitions, add additional Rectangular Touch events to a state.
