2 min
this issue typically occurs because of a problematic line of code in your presentation however, you must restore the player to an operational state before you can publish a new/fixed presentation to it resetting the player you may be able to reset the player from the dws (if the problematic code occurs later in the script) to do this access the access the local dws docid\ iafcherljfjdjtwttkpk5 or the access the remote dws docid\ xue20rjxhft lq0rdmjbw go to diagnostics > disable autorun go to diagnostics > storage formatting to format the sd and ssd depending on where the autorun brs is running from this will erase the problematic autorun brs code/content/presentation go to control section of dws and select reboot player if you cannot reset the player through the dws, you will need to manually take out the player’s sd card, reformat it and insert it again once you have reset the player (the player networking settings and the registry settings will not change), it will go back to its “ready for publishing" screen you can then publish a new presentation, with known working content, to the player debugging the issue the problematic presentation must be simplified to isolate the issue to a particular component we suggest first removing the advanced elements (interactivity, plugins or parsers) and publishing a simplied version of the original presentation to see if it works
