The SSD module can be installed on all Series 5 XC, XT, and XD players. The BrightSignOS version should be 9.0.15 or higher.

You will need the following tools for installation: 

- Phillips screwdriver with a PH2 tip (magnetic tip)
- Phillips screwdriver with a PH1 tip (magnetic tip)
