BrightSign Built-in (BSBI) players are embedded boards, based on our HS and XS product lines, which convert a TV into a BrightSign display. BrightSign can troubleshoot software-related issues that your player is having, while the product vendor must be contacted for  hardware issues. 

# When to Contact BrightSign

If you can see a BrightSign logo or anything that you published on the display, then the problem is likely to be a software issue. BrightSign support can help you with an authoring or content issue, unless you are using a partner CMS in which case you should talk to the CMS partner.

Contact BrightSign support when the issue involves:

- Player software and content authoring (unless using a partner CMS).
- Player firmware issues (for example, player reboots).

# When to Contact the Vendor

Contact the vendor when the issue involves:

- Any display hardware problem (for example, no power, no display, screen lines).
- Physical repair of the integrated BrightSign player.
