The Video In state allows for live-video playback from another source via the HDMI® Input port on the XT1145, XT2145, XT1144, XT1143, and 4K1142 models.

## State Properties

- **Name:** The name of the Video In state
- **Initial** **State**: Select this to make this state the home screen

### Options

- **Volume:** Allows you to set the volume. For presentations in Advanced mode, volume can also be changed using the **Set Volume** command.
- **Overscan enabled**: Check this box to display the video input beyond the edges of the zone. Use this option if the source video signal is using an overscan setting.

## Using Video In

1. In a presentation for an XT1145, XT2145, XT1144, XT1143, or 4K1142 player, drag the **Video** **In** widget onto your canvas.
2. Give the state a name in the **State** **Properties** panel.
3. Connect the widget to a media event as shown in the image above. When the media ends, it will go to the **Video In** widget, which will take the signals from the HDMI input and display it in that zone.
