You can attach [Commands](docId\:az1YTDtEYH-Zp2Dbg_lBL) to events to pause and resume videos in a BrightSign Author presentation. 

1. Create an [Advanced presentation](docId:0Vm0UTpL2j8dss-DFNhMo) with a video.
2. Select the desired event from **Events** and add it to the video. 
3. Ensure the event is selected and in **Event Properties > Target** **State**, choose **Remain On Current State - Continuous**. 
4. In **Advanced**, click **Add Command** and select **Video** from the drop-down list.
5. Select **Pause**.
6. Create a second event with the same configuration and choose **Video - Resume**.
