Changes the state of GPIO buttons that are [configured for output](docId\:a6Ali6u-szxHuansk6T3-) . See [Use GPIO on Players](docId\:YDPhUp1VAStjmUoS_L7QH) for additional information.

- **On**: Turns on the specified GPIO button.
- **Off**: Turns off the specified GPIO button.
- **Set State**: Allows you to turn multiple GPIO buttons on or off. The buttons are specified as bits in an integer value; see the documentation for [roControlPort.SetWholeState()](docId:8ExDHgmoHqig7J-UvfCe1) for an example.

The "button" numbers are not the same as GPIO "pin" numbers: Some pins act as power supply or ground, so they are not included in the button numbering scheme. See the **Hardware Interfaces** section of the [hardware manual](docId\:UYYJYeJ6qoJy1HKSbRlPu) associated with your player model to view a mapping of buttons to pins.
